This new two-story home with detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a multigenerational home inspired by a mixture of Mexican, Mediterranean and mid-century modern architecture with an open floor plan, two levels of family living space and strategic openings for natural light. Sturdy materials such as ceramic tile, concrete floors, steel windows and thick stucco walls were used to endure the rigors of family life with a large dog and three teenagers. A feature staircase with tile risers, private second floor terrace, Appalachian Birch built-in bookshelves throughout and a dutch door are some of the unique elements as featured in the March 2022 story by Golden State: Made In California
